From our love for Lithuanian folk music, this channel was born. TYKU – Creative documentary project capturing the sound of today's Lithuanian folk music. We create music videos of singers, musicians, families, and ensembles performing traditional songs — preserving the living folk archive of this era for future generations. Many of these songs were learned through oral tradition — passed down by family, local communities, or other singers. While some performances reflect traditional styles, others may include personal interpretation. This project does not aim to reconstruct historical authenticity, but to archive how these songs live and evolve now. TYKU is not only about music – it's about people, their connection to tradition, and the timeless stories carried through sound.
