I love this. The way it cuts back and forth between scenes of violence in her private life and scenes of Tonya's public success captures both the movie and the song perfectly. Layering the "I want to stop" "We can't" audio over the moment when she's looking in the mirror, trying to force a smile on to her face while her world is burning down... It sums up her inner monologue -- her brokenness -- her struggle... >>
I just realised that this isnt any ordinary olympic movie, this is her actual life. There was no support for her but there were tiny sparks of hope that made Tonya Harding go through all of the pain and suffering.
Great woman. THEY were the pathetic people. She was THE STRONGEST. We need more woman like Tonya Harding.
